Campbell House Hotel George Town, George Town

From the warm welcome to the tasty breakfast, super helpful staff, fantastic location, and gorgeous rooms, my stay at this hotel was simply delightful. The only downside was a slightly off position, but overall, a wonderful experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The unique rooms were very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring George Town, and the dining experience was delightful. The facilities were well-kept, making it a great value for the price.

Staying in the Opium Room was a delightful experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with heritage-style furniture. Daily snacks and juice in the fridge were a nice touch. The location is perfect for exploring Georgetown and other parts of Penang, being right in the center and within walking distance of many attractions. The service from Chan, Vanessa, and Sasha was excellent, offering valuable suggestions to make my stay memorable. The dining options were delicious and plentiful, with the flexibility to order from local street vendors. However, the noise from the street could be a downside, and the lack of common spaces apart from a pseudo library was a minor inconvenience.

Overall, a fantastic boutique hotel for a memorable stay.

The hotel exudes its own class, beauty, and elegance with a library, often occupied writing desk, and a spacious terrace. The rooms are equipped with both Fan and Air-Con, and they have an exceptional collection of DVD's for your entertainment, a feature I have rarely encountered elsewhere. The overall experience offered great value for the price.
